UTK CURENT: Campus Multi-Microgrids and Digital Twins
Invited talk and research exchange
An invited presentation at UTK CURENT on campus microgrids, AI-enabled energy management, and digital twins.

At CURENT, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I gave an invited talk entitled “AI-Driven Smart Energy Management and Digital Twin for Campus Multi-Microgrids.” Drawing on the MCUT campus demonstration site, the presentation introduced PV, storage, and EV charging integration, energy monitoring, AI forecasting, and research directions for multi-microgrid systems.
The exchange also covered islanded operation, digital twins, and possible future research connections with the CURENT LTB platform. Presentations and laboratory visits provided an opportunity to connect practical campus engineering experience with international power-systems research, particularly the links between field data, models, and experimental validation.

Key topics
- Integration of campus PV, storage, and EV charging loads.
- Load and PV generation forecasting for energy-management research.
- Research exchange on multi-microgrids, digital twins, and experimental platforms.
