RESEARCH / FIELD EVIDENCE
Research data overview
Explore measurement categories and research uses, then agree on accessible periods, fields and sharing arrangements.
Updated: 25 October 2026
This is a catalogue of data categories for collaboration discussions, not a released dataset. Coverage, sampling, units, missingness and access permissions must be established for each resource and study.
| Category | Existing basis and checks | Research use |
|---|---|---|
| Energy measurements | EMS information on PV, storage, consumption and charging; exportable fields require an inventory. | Energy balance, load profiles, peaks and resource complementarity. |
| Forecasts and observations | Load and PV forecasts are deployed; retention of historical forecasts, versions and issue times must be checked. | Time-series benchmarks, error analysis and scheduling sensitivity. |
| Operating events | Islanding and interruption experience is confirmed; timestamps and complete operation logs require cross-checking. | Resilience, SOC reserves and recovery scenarios. |
| Charging-service events | Charging operations exist; event fields, completeness and de-identification for research require confirmation. | Demand flexibility, service constraints and scheduling; excluding payment and identifying information. |
Before a joint study
Prepare a data dictionary covering measurement locations, equipment identifiers, fields, units, time zones and sampling. Audit coverage and gaps, forecast issue times, observation alignment and operating events. Agree on permitted fields, de-identification, research use and publication procedures.
Ways to collaborate
Depending on data conditions, begin with field definitions and authorized aggregates, then consider offline samples, joint analysis or controlled access. Any API would depend on permissions, maintenance and the agreed scope. This page provides neither live equipment control nor a public data API.
